Tiger Woods did not suffer facial lacerations from a car accident. They were inflicted by his wife, Elin Nordegren -- according to a conversation Woods had Friday after the accident.
Tiger has yet to be formally interviewed by the Florida Highway Patrol -- that should happen this afternoon. But we're told Tiger had a conversation Friday -- with a non-law enforcement type -- detailing what went down before his Escalade hit a fire hydrant.
We're told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We're told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV -- but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.
Tiger WoodsWe're told Woods became "distracted," thought the vehicle was stopped, and looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree. We're also told Woods had said during the conversation Friday he had been taking prescription pain medication for an injury, which could explain why he seemed somewhat out of it at the scene.

Rihanna: Chris Had No Soul in His Eyes
Rihanna described all the horrific details of Chris Brown's brutal attack on her last February -- claiming he was soulless and had "clearly blacked out" when he was smashing her face in.
On "Good Morning America," Rihanna explained how a fight over a text message set him off -- and once the beating started, all she could think about was "When is it going to stop?"
Interestingly enough, she says she doesn't hate him -- and instead wants him to "have a great career" and to "take this as something to go through and learn."

High School Chicks Love Chris Brown
Seems high school kids have a short term memory when it comes to current events -- because Chris Brown was hailed as a conquering hero when he showed up for a b-ball game.
Brown rolled into L.A.'s Cleveland High School for a celeb basketball game sponsored by local radio station Power 106 -- and, shockingly ... no controversy over his appearance. In fact, it was the opposite.
Assistant Principal of Athletics Carlos Valdovinos tells TMZ the students did not have Rihanna on the brain. Everyone acted "as if nothing ever happened."
Valdovinos says the girls "were going berserk."

Still tired from all the one woman action, Tila told us she buckled from all of the pressure related to her lawsuit against Merriman and she "just kind of flipped out a little bit."
The price tag on that lawsuit: $1.5 million, according to Tequila, who says she'll donate it all to charity.

CBS' explanation for why they blurred Adam Lambert's man-on-man kiss ain't cuttin' it with the folks at GLAAD -- who claim the network is treating openly gay performers as second class citizens.
Jarrett Barrios, president of GLAAD -- the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation -- tells TMZ, "The Early Show's decision this morning to blur Adam Lambert's kiss from the American Music Awards reinforces an unfortunate double standard that is applied to openly gay performers."
Barrios adds, "I would have hoped CBS would provide the same treatment for images of gay and lesbian people and not create an unfair double standard that treats our community differently."

Neighbors at Legal War Over Rihanna's Big Move

The owner of the L.A. house Rihanna was renting believes she would have bought his house outright but his neighbor was such a jerk ... she bailed on the deal.
The neighbor had actually sued Rihanna and her landlord, Stephan Yacobian, back in June, claiming the singer and her friends had a bad habit of parking their cars on his property. Rihanna eventually got so fed up with his complaints ... she moved.
Now, Yacobian is going after the neighbor -- claiming he had no right to yell at Rihanna and her friend over parking, because the two property owners had a specific agreement that RiRi could park in the neighbor's driveway.
Yacobian claims the neighbor's "harassing behavior" caused the deal to go south.

Britney's Rig Flips Down Under
Britney Spears has lost it -- and by that, we mean all her touring equipment.
TMZ has learned a bus carrying all off Britney's tour equipment rolled off the road in Parkes, New South Wales in Australia.
According to police there, it happened around 4:30 PM during a bad storm. The winds became too strong and blew the truck off the road, rolling it over.
Police say the driver was taken to the hospital, but the equipment was undamaged.
So Britney has all the tools to lip sync tonight at the Rod Laver Arena tonight.

Tyler Perry used too much of the goodness of Jesus in his movie, "Madea Goes to Jail," at least according to a new federal lawsuit.
The suit, filed by the personal representative of deceased gospel singer/songwriter Bertha James, claims Perry lifted an entire verse from a song James wrote in 1950 -- "When I Think of the Goodness of Jesus."
The suit claims Perry pilfered the verse and used it in "Madea" -- specifically, "incorporating the entire Chorus in a monologue delivered by the main character in 'Madea" referencing her deliverance from a jail sentence and leniency for repetitive criminal conduct, in a staged court proceeding presided over by 'Judge Mabeline.'"
Bertha's estate, which is also suing Lionsgate Entertainment, wants unspecified damages for copyright infringement.

New Moon fever hits SNL! As Taylor Lautner, Rihanna, Blake Lively to Make SNL Debuts
Fresh off New Moon's mega-blockbuster opening weekend, Taylor Lautner -- sorry, Team Edward! -- will show his comic chops on NBC's Saturday Night Live on Dec. 12. Backstage, Lautner can mingle with musical guests Bon Jovi, returning to perform for the fifth time.
But it's 17 year-old Lautner's very first time hosting SNL in a holiday month with two other big debuts on the sketch show.
Gossip Girl's Blake Lively (whose film The Private Lives of Pippa Lee is out this month) will also make her inaugural bow hosting the show Dec. 5. Joining Lively that night is one of the biggest newsmakers of 2009: musical guest Rihanna, who released her new album Rated R on Tuesday.

Lady Gaga insists she doesn't wear those outrageous, over-the-top getups merely for attention.
"I want to create a space for my fans where they can feel free, and they can celebrate," she says on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday (check your local listings). "I didn't fit in in high school, and I felt like a freak. So I like to create this atmosphere for my fans where they feel like they have a freak in me to hang out with, and they don't feel alone."
In high school, the Yonkers, N.Y., native, 23, says she felt like an outcast because she wanted to be like "Boy George." She adds that it "took a long time to be OK" with who she is.
"I want my fans to know that it's OK," she says. "Sometimes in life you don't always feel like a winner, but that doesn't mean you're not a winner."
She also reveals she penned her tune, "Speechless" for her dad, who just had open heart surgery.
"He had an aortic valve transplant," she says. "I was on the road, and I was having a lot of trouble missing my parents and wanting to be with my dad. So I wrote this song called 'Speechless' for him to sort of beg him to get this surgery, and it worked."
